Cultural Days in Vadsø

In the last week before advent, Vadsø organises its Cultural Days festival. For just over a week the whole municipality offers many activities and events. Both amateurs and professionals add to the great atmosphere.

"Kulturdagene" in Vadsø, as this festival is known in Norwegian, is a mixture of traditional events and meetings, art exhibitions, concerts, culinary activities, saunas and hand-made craft fairs. Individuals, groups and local clubs all take part.

"Kulturdagene" is the result of hard but enjoyable work. It is a light in the face of the oncoming polar night, and marks at the same time the beginning of the Christmas period.
